What You Will Be Doing

As a Graduate Consultant you will be engaged primarily in the production part of the business. As part of this role, we will require you to help maintain and update existing products that are used either in location planning studies or that are provided direct to clients where they can self-serve their own analysis. From day one you will be supported to start developing your skills and every day will be different, but here is an example of some of the experiences and responsibilities you will embark on: 

  • Updating and maintaining our data and software products.
  • Quality assurance across different functions of the business.
  • Internal technical support for our products and processes.
  • Creating and maintaining product documentation.
  • Assisting in the research and development of new products / processes.
  • Data collection and enhancement of a wide range of data for various project work.
  • Interpreting results to help clients make informed decisions.

  • You have strong interpersonal, analytical, and numeric skills.
  • You understand the importance of a client-oriented organisation.
  • You are structured, organised and process orientated.
  • You can work in a team but also work independently where required.
  • You have strong attention to detail, the ability to spot errors and be willing to challenge the validity of data.
  • You are wanting to learn and embrace new methods, experiences, and software.
  • You are adaptable and willing to support different areas of the business.

Your Qualifications and Experience
  • You must have experience of using Microsoft Office Suite and are educated to degree level in a relevant discipline (Geography, Math’s, Economics, Statistics)
  • You ideally have experience of using GIS platforms such as QGIS, MapInfo or other spatial software e.g. FME
  • You should also be familiar with data visualisation software, such as PowerBI/Tableau and familiarity or exposure to coding, e.g., Python/R/SQL
  • You preferably have experience of working in a customer focused environment
